AFMA sponsors a number of events throughout the year that are designed to support your efforts in successfully managing the floodplain. From informal technical sessions to more structured conferences & workshops, these gatherings offer a wealth of knowledge and experience from other floodplain managers throughout Arkansas.
This schedule of events is highlighted by our annual fall conference, which is the largest of all AFMA gatherings, attracting participants from across the state as well as other areas within FEMA Region VI.
The annual spring workshop is a mid-year technical supplement and serves as a great introduction to floodplain management for those new to the business. We highly recommend attending this event before attending the fall conference!
